Our annual Carnarvon Lodge Summer Social was another fantastic family fun day with something for everyone to get involved in. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't as glorious as it was last year, but the lodge decided to set up camp inside Walmer Bridge Village Hall instead of outside to save any accidents.
When it wasn't raining people were outside enjoying the sunshine and the kids were having a great time with all the sports equipment provided by the lodge members. Freemasons from many other different lodges also joined in the fun - along with their partners and families. If you'd like to come along to our next summer social just ask.
It's not a freemasons event without a raffle to raise funds for charity, and this years quiz and raffle was just as big as last years! Thank you to everyone who donated and also took part. A grand total of £430 was raised throughout the day which goes towards our end of season donation - this year the lodge's main donation will go to St Catherines Hospice.
Request for support - on 18th October 2025, our worshipful master Adam Dennett is doing a sponsored skydive to raise money for St Catherines Hospice.

Entertainment wasn't the only thing on offer during our summer social! A hotpot buffet and dessert was also provided with dietary choices and sweets for the kids.
Walmer Bridge Village Hall also has a fully licensed bar which is open for people to get alcoholic and soft drinks at fair prices. Thank you to the staff for once again hosting our lodge's summer social.
If you would like to know more about our lodge or our next family social events just email hello@carnarvon2376.co.uk and we'll get back to you.
Towards the end of the evening, following a table spill, our very own master of the lodge Adam Dennett decided to become the worshipful mopster instead...
